ISRO ICRB Recruitment 2026 Age Limit
The age limit for ISRO ICRB Recruitment 2026 will be calculated as on 16 August 2026. The maximum permissible age for different categories is as follows:

Application Fee is payable only by online through the Bharatkosh e-Payment gateway via Internet Banking, UPI, or Debit Cards (domestic). No other mode of payment (cash, cheque, draft, money order, IPO, etc.) is accepted. The processing fee is refunded in full to candidates exempted from the fee (women, SC/ST/PwBD, Ex-Servicemen) who appear in the written test/CBT; for all other candidates, ₹100 is deducted and the balance refunded, provided the candidate appears in the written test/CBT. Refund is not considered if a candidate fails to appear for the written test/CBT.

Written Test

Skill Test
Based on written test performance, candidates are shortlisted for the skill test in the ratio of 1:5 (maximum) to the category-wise number of vacancies.

Final selection is based on marks scored in the written test, from among candidates who qualify in the skill test. In case of a tie, tie-breakers are applied in order: (a) marks in General Intelligence & Reasoning (Post 1,3,5) or English Language & Comprehension (Post 2,4,6); (b) date of birth, with the older candidate preferred.

Candidates selected for the posts of Assistant, Junior Personal Assistant (JPA), Upper Division Clerk (UDC), and Stenographer will be appointed under Level 4 of the Pay Matrix as per the Central Government pay structure.

In addition to the basic pay, employees will receive admissible allowances such as Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and Transport Allowance in accordance with the prevailing Central Government rules.

Important Instructions
Applicants are advised to read the following instructions carefully before applying for ISRO ICRB Recruitment 2026:
- Candidates working in the Central Government, State Government, Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), or Autonomous Bodies must produce a valid No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer at the time of the Skill Test. Failure to submit the original NOC may lead to disqualification from the Skill Test, and no Travelling Allowance (TA) will be admissible.
- Candidates applying under the Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) category must upload and produce a valid disability certificate issued by the competent Medical Board. The disability percentage should meet the minimum eligibility criteria prescribed for reservation.
- Applicants belonging to the OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) category must possess a valid OBC certificate in the prescribed format as on the last date of application. EWS candidates must hold a valid Income and Asset Certificate for the applicable financial year.
- Candidates shortlisted for the Skill Test will be reimbursed the second-class railway fare (to and fro) by the shortest route from the city mentioned in their application to the Skill Test venue. No Travelling Allowance (TA) will be paid for appearing in the Written Test.
- All information submitted in the online application must be supported by original documents during the document verification and Skill Test. Providing incorrect or misleading information may result in cancellation of candidature.
- The official answer key will be published on the ISRO website within three working days after the Written Test. Candidates may submit objections through the designated online portal within five days of its publication. Objections submitted after the deadline or through any other mode will not be accepted.
- Selected candidates may be posted or transferred to any ISRO Centre or Department of Space (DoS) Unitacross India based on organizational requirements.
- The number of vacancies is provisional. ISRO reserves the right to increase, decrease, modify, or cancel the notified vacancies without assigning any reason. The advertised posts are temporary but are likely to continue.
- Any legal dispute related to this recruitment shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
